At this year's AWITS event, Friday, March 28th, we saw much growth and definitely felt the Holy Spirit! Started by Trish O'Connor and held at Akron's Goodyear Theater, this was Compass North Church's sixth year hosting this amazing event; our third year attending. Fifty-five total resource tables were there to support those in need! As you can tell by the pictures, it was packed. This year we had the help of our newly appointed VP, Sonya Heller and new Veteran in the ministry, Kyle Lewis. Who I can happily say, has decided to accept Jesus into his heart! What a blessing Kyle has been! We were also able to make some connections and possible collaborations to work with Veterans farther north. More to come on that. Unfortunately, later that night, Sonya gave us a scare and had a seizure. BUT GOD! We can thankfully report that she is doing well. Thank you all for your prayers! Can't wait to see what God has in the future for this event! See you next year!
